The Governing Body

As part of Victoria Academies Trust, Governance flows through our board of Trustees. They delegate responsibilities to our Local Academy Council who focus on Culture, Children and Community, ensuring that our school is ’Being The Best It Can Be’ for our children, colleagues and community.

The Academy Council

Academy Councillors help the school provide a good education. They work with the Headteacher, who runs the school day-to-day, to set goals and policies.

Their main roles are:

  • Making sure the school has a clear vision and direction

  • To hold the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff

They do not deal with personal complaints. Parents and carers please follow the school’s official process if you have concerns.
